i seriously think our bio and econs h1 lessons are jinxed.

tuesday: practical session from 11pm to 1pm. yihan leaves for SSEF, michael goes to appeal back into HCI and huangpei falls sick. that left me and mrs cheng. result: practical rescheduled to the ungodly hour 4.30pm on friday and i get 2 hours off, tacked on to a 2.5 hour break immediatly after. later at econs lecture, i proceed to solo the timed assignment

wednesday: again yihan ditches us for SSEF. michael languishing somewhere in AJC, leaving me and huangpei alone in the lecture test

today: bio tutorial at 8am, huangpei on huangcheng leave and michael still clearing up some appeal adminsitrative stuff i think. me and yihan sit in the room for 10 mins before calling mrs cheng and realising she is on mc. later at econs tutorial, yihan runs off AGAIN for SSEF, leaving me to sit with only michael, who is either in a catatonic sleep or random fits of laughter.

predicted tomorrow: bio flash animation class with s7e somehow screws up due to mrs chengs continuing illness.

get well soon mrs cheng

the college reception called me out to collect this 'A*Star JC Science Award' form and submit it tomorrow. since this thing is by school nomination only i think probably mrs ke or someone in the high school section orchestrated it. whatever the reason, im still befuddled.

this award is quite problematic too. on one hand, its A*Star. no one in their right mind turns down an award/scholarship offer by A*Star, even if its not some major university one. on the other hand, this little clause here states that awardess have to attend a mandatory attachment with A*Star in the holidays. its a good opportunity, but how the hell am i supposed to reconcile the timing with my NRP project. i hope i can tell them im already tied down and get them to excuse me.

and so the procedure of applying for awards/attachments/whatever kicks in again...

1. fill up the form. Z
2. spend time photocopying every last relavent important document. ZZ*
3. drag them down to college reception and get them certified as true copies. ZZZ

*(my documents are still relatively little. god knows how the active people with tons of awards and achievements do it)

what a bloody time and paper consuming process.
