i was going to post about the more significant events of today, but something i just saw has stimulated me into writing this down.

i was surfing across random blogs from my volleyball juniors, and came across one belonging to my grandjunior Max currently in sec 1. and yet again, as qijian so eloquently phrased it, i came away with self-inflicted stab wounds in my eyes.

you know, when people type their whole posts with massive amounts of singlish phrases, capitalising letters in the middle of nowhere, replacing letters with numbers or symbols that look like them...

seriously, the internet will be the death of the english language as we know it.

anyway, i just came back from council meeting, reaching home at the ungodly hour of 2330. the first of many late nights to come. and from now on i shall never have to bear with any other people telling me that they stayed back very late every day for CCA and that 他们吃的盐比我吃的米多. HA.

but i hereby sincerely state that this statement is not directed in huang pei in any way. 0% sacarsm.

i also have the glamorous job of composing the song that we are going to sing on investiture along with khee xuan and (cant remember, was doing maths). urgh. *dusts off stagnant pop music skills*

and congrats to shiwei for becoming deputy pres. and kangjie for becoming GS! =)

but seriously, does anyone not think that its freaky that 4 out of 5 exco members all came from the same campaign group :S
