its quite lucky that i crashed and helped out many MAF centerpiece informals. because now the mass sewing sessions are starting for CNY centerpiece too. but somehow my thread keeps on mysteriously entangling itself and the needle is incredibly hard to thread. urgh.

and for today's worksession we did our sewing right smack in the middle of the central plaza. people (esp j1s) must think we are weird...

today, as the performing CCAs were having their rehearsals, i watched a combined CO-choir rendition of the song "da di hui chun", and was reminded why that's my favourite CNY song of all time. the lyrics and the music each weave a picture of such beauty, and both come together and undergo constructive interference to produce something even more magnificent. its the song that always manages to make me feel the festive spirit of CNY.

to end off, i just had a rather hillarious convo with chay choong recently:

Chay Choong: you like kissin?
Chay Choong: i mean
Chay Choong: the pianist
Chay Choong: not the verb
TanZYinG: -.- of course i know who is kissin

LOL

(for the uninformed...Evgeny Kissin is one of the best international concert pianists nowadays)
