my blog has been down since my mother stumbled upon it. But i think it doesnt matter anymore, she can read it if she wants to, its not as if i have anything to hide.
i am putting this blog back up because some one just touched me so much i simply must reciprocate.
o1 has just ended, and i must say it has been the best ever council working event i ever took part in, even more so than MAF. I owe thanks to so many people including the o1com, wargamescom, song ics, OG10 and 08s6k.
but out of all the people my appreciations i directed to, no one is more deserving of them than one person.

i dont know where to start thanking you. right at the start, when poor justin left, you came in to save me. i remember that afternoon when you, with your hacking cough, sat through the long and dreary "passing-down" i had to give you.
and after that, you working your way through a crapload of paperwork and doing up so much admin stuff in time for the 2nd formals. manpower allocation, layout, action plan, everything. your skills at these things are godly man. or maybe because i just suck at it. thats why youre in the exco and im just a little pubco member.
and how you managed to tank everything during the worksessions period when i was away in japan. soloing the icebreakers and structure stuff totally. and then saving me from dying under the combined workload of the o1 website and stuff to be presented during GM. standing by my side with a supportive presence while mrs ang bombarded me with questions. and how (the hell) you managed to get the starch and the bags.
of course you must have had to settle alot of snr stuff with ECs Mr Pang and fac comm at the same time, and right smack in the middle of o1. how you managed to handle it all, i will never know and never cease to be impressed by it.
the prewargames prep. you did a great job overseeing the layout and starch pool construction while i was running around the minipools. i will never forget how, even though we both didnt get much sleep the previous night and were running on willpower alone, we managed to do everything so quickly there was loads of unused buffer time the next day.
sorry for the fiasco with the video and the rap. the video was no where near as good as you made it out to be. youre just being nice.
finally, after all the preparations we made wargames such a huge success! all the j1s were enjoying themselves mightily and their spirits were so high! even though we have to put on a serious face and go around scolding people the j1s enthusiasm is just too infectious :)
and i cant forget how you stood at the apollo tower and braved the waterbombs just to keep the bottle steady. pei fu pei fu.

towards the end of the council term my workload wont increase much, but you will probably be permanantly piaing snr stuff. but if anyone in council can take it, its you. you may think im imba, but you are so much more so than me. jiayou and dont ever give up!
