i SHOULD be in school right now enjoying the atmosphere and doing all the mass/faculty dances during open house right now.
unfortunately, at about 2 am this morning, i was awoken by the horrible feeling of my stomach rebelling against me. i rushed to the sink and threw up like 3-4 times until there was really nothing left to regurgitate anymore. spent the next 1 hour sitting near the toilet due to a persistent nausea preventing my attempts to lie down. finally i got myself a drink of hot water, took out a few plastic bags to serve as emergency barf bags and managed to get back to sleep. slept in until 11am.
the funny thing is that its not gastric flu or whatever as i feel perfectly all right right now. probably something in the mcdonalds food i ate on the way home from grad night yesterday. whatever it is, my plans to enjoy open house this year are dashed and i am not very happy at all.
